An Early Intervention Teacher speaks with a student

Early Intervention provides family-centered support and services to infants and toddlers, birth to 3 years old, with developmental delays or medical or social histories that may put them at risk for a developmental delay.

As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play an important role in the growth and development of young children and work with them to establish goals for growth and progress. EI specialists work alongside parents and caregivers to implement targeted strategies to enhance development and learning through meaningful everyday experiences and daily routines.

A required Practicum Field Experience provides hands-on opportunities to link theory to practice.  ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ is one of only a few undergraduate programs approved by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Approved higher education program.
